Which UPS would you recommend for i7 3770k with hd 7970 ?

I have my old 500 vac UPS but it seems to not working. So any suggestion?

Is a 1k necessary? I have a similar issue..

Well, Say your system draws 400W total on load. (Which, 7970 + 3770K probably down 350 once you count the drives and fans and whatnot, more if overclocked)

 

A 1k will stay on for 9 minutes. You need neough time to shut your system down, or, let it auto shut down. You could probably do 750va as well.
