He said he only used them for 2 months, he has 2 of them and he will sell both for 280 cause he never really had the time to use them.

It's a bit harsh, I'd say try to benchmark it and see if its prefoms as good as other 280x. But, considering it's under warranty it's not much of problem, especially at 2 months of use.

Only buy it if he lets you test it, you don't want a card that was used for mining.

Yeah I had epic math and currency conversion fail, but for $140 each, go for it., if only you need one, take both and put the 2nd up for $160 yourself
