Is 600 watts enough for my system?

Go to solution Solved by WereCat,

Yes, more than enough actualy.

Hey =)

I'm upgrading my computer and I'd like to know if 600 Watts are enough to power it. Could I overclock the graphics card with this 600watt PSU?

My PC specs:

Processor:                     Intel Core i7 4790K

Graphics Card:              Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Motherboard:                 MSI H97 Gaming 3

Power Supply:                Corsair CX600 (enough?)

RAM:                             G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb (4x4gb)

Case:                             NZXT S340 (White)

CPU cooler:                   BeQuiet Shadow Rock Slim

Thank you! =)

I'm running a similar setup off a low-quality thermaltake PSU, you'll be fine.

I am conducting some polls regarding your opinion of large technology companies. I would appreciate your response.

Microsoft Apple Valve Google Facebook Oculus HTC AMD Intel Nvidia

I'm using this data to judge this site's biases so people can post in a more objective way.

Do you already have the CX600?

If so, yes it's fine, however if you don't have it already there are often better options for the money if you are buying at full price

i5 4670k - Z87X-UD3H - EVGA GTX 670 Sig 2 - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - 8GB Avexir Core White 1600Mhz - Corsair 750D w/ RGB LED Mod & Remote Control - 2x SP120 - 3x Enermax Cluster - 2TB Seagate SSHD - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W
