Is it possible that if you buy 1333 Mhz RAM for a motherboard that supports 1333 Mhz ram, these still are not compatible?

Assuming they are like, DDR3 in a DDR3 motherboard, theres a 98% chance it will work. If it doesn't, your RAM or your motherboard is defective.

Yes.

 

Buffered/registered = server/workstation memory.

 

Unbuffered = Consumer grade memory.

 

Slot Keys are in different locations, and some sellers on sites like E-bay or Amazon will not tag them correctly.

Yes, but many times on the site of the motherboard there is a list of compatible RAM, that made me uncertain

That is just a list of tested working in-house memory. It's a way for the company to say we tested on this, but we can't say it will be compatible with brand X that we don't test.
