It will be fine, see its younger brother the A10 7850k gaming here just make sure you get at high speed ram, like 2166 or 1866, because the iGPU uses it. I would say get a Hyper 212 Evo to go with it, just to rule out any heat issues, and because the APU stock coolers are loud af

Depends on recording software youre using, i dunno about AMDs solution, but Nvidias ShadowPlay is very light software to run with max 5 % performance loss.

860K + R9 260X is better combo than 7870K + 2400MHz ram.

AMD 860K @ 4.3GHz ; Kingston HyperX Fury 2400MHz ; Asus A88XM-Plus ; Sapphire R9 270X 2GB ; 600W Tacens Radix VII AG 80+Silver  ; Cooler Master TX3 Evo

WAT

In Canada the A10-7850K and A10-7870K are like... $170. Really not worth it considering the A8-7650K performs within a very close margin while costing only $110... plus you can basically get an 860K or G3258 paired with an R7 250X or GTX 750 for just slightly more, and it will perform a lot better due to GDDR5..

If I could get a 7850K plus a board for $110... ooooh man.

Intel i5-4690K @ 3.8GHz || Gigabyte Z97X-SLI || 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600MHz || Asus GTX 760 2GB @ 1150 / 6400 || 128GB A-Data SX900 + 1TB Toshiba 7200RPM || Corsair RM650 || Fractal 3500W

Check out here website. I don't know how it works in Canada. Honestly Newegg seems beter on cases etc but I love there cpu/MB combos.

Also don't be surprised if you feel overwhelmin pride at an A10 build only to see it called an office pc :)
