How high of a dpi do you need in a mouse for it to move by each pixel instead of skipping pixels on 1080p?

what did you just write, makes no sense whatsoever.

 

okay so, dpi is a setting on your MOUSE to move a certain amount of pixels in a certain distance. No pixels are being skipped.

 

 

I recommend you use somewhere in the range of 400-1200/1600 dpi(1600 only if you have 4k monitors and two of them) because this is where most sensors are the most accurate.

I think your thinking of the polling rate. dpi is how fast it moves, polling rate is how many times it refreshes. for your question, would entirely depend on how fast you move your mouse/refresh rate of your monitor
