So! I have been waiting for a long time to do this!

Finally, having done my research and having grown an obsession with the system I am about to build..

It might just be the time to actually build it, right?

The parts I've chosen are:

The build will be called: The 440th Dalmatian,

because of the coloring theme being black / white and the case I am using, being the NXTX H440

As you can, or probably can't see, on the part list there is no case chosen. Why is that though?

WELL... BECAUSE IT'S ALREADY HOME! :D

I have also received some of the cable extensions I will be using, and OH BOY, those are some good ones. Bitfenix is a quality company and I have got to know that throughout the years.

Looking nice and clean! My only concern right now is cable management and how am going to fit all those cables along with their extensions on a case that has not that much clearence back because of the material it uses to keep it silent. But I will manage :)

Nothing else has arrived home as of today, and will probably take for every part to arrive around a week or two, considering the fact that everything is purchased from Germany, and I live in Greece.

I am really Hyped, I can't wait to get them parts, paint that GTX 970 white and stick some Bitfenix Alchemy led strips to show off that killer interior.

So, If you want to follow along you are welcome to join the journey to building this machine, which by the way is going to be evolving every day and sometime later this year I will be adding a second 970.

That's all for now, but before I hop outta here I just wanna give credi to @1Scotty1 for being awesome and answering my questions, as actually being the one that made me buy the NZXT H440, over the Enthoo Pro, which I believe was a solid choice!

Hope to see you around. Expect updates very soon guys!

Damn, I thought you would paint the case like "Dalmatian" I mean paint it black with dot pattern, like this:

IIRC, it has a PSU cover, you can just keep the extra length of the cables wrapped up in front of the PSU instead of round the back.

+1 for thinking you were going to go with dots.. :D

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

Do you guys really think I should paint it with like a dalmatian pattern. I don't really feel like it is going to look cool, but hey, If I find some solution that will actually make it look cool, and not like crap, I will by all means use it! :D

Well it's called "440th Dalmatian", my expectation was that the case was painted with "Dalmatian" pattern.

But it's up to you, if you don't like it then it's okay, it's not a must. Because it's your PC, not ours  :P

If you aren't sure try to Photoshop your PC and see how it looks, don't just paint your case straight away.

Yes, sure thing! I will do that and come back later today with some info and probably photos with possible versions of the dalmatian look :P The actual reason I named it that way is the overall black / white theme that will be happening. Black / White mobo, Black CPU cooler with white LED, Black GPU with DIY painted frontplate, black AND white ram... White cables... You get the idea :)

So I did some Photoshoping and I have played around with some ideas, they didn't really look good, but I will look into it a bit further once the full build is complete. It seems like a good idea on paper but It is actually going to be quite hard to achieve something visually pleasing when using patterns, and not say a solid color or a meaningful picture / logo / text at most. I might paint my username (Fibeus) or the name of the build (The 440th Dalmatian) at the one side of the case using the dalmatian look on the text.. I have many ideas, but we wil see them coming together, together soon :)
