budget GPU

Hey everyone!

so what happened is that my  gpu (gt 640) has become pretty slow and now a bit too old for games such as the witcher 3 which i plan on playing. My father gave ma a budget of  usd $150 for anything i want this summer, i decided to get the best gpu i can within that price range, im looking for a gpu that can run GW2 TW3 Skyrim GTAV at max or near max performance on a 1600x900 res monitor. since my pc was a prebuilt model im not sure of the psu wattage either (dell xps 8500 intel i7)

What exact CPU do you have?

You can probably find that easily by going into your Control Panel and click the 'System' option.

 

In that price range at the moment, you are probably looking at a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti or R9 270 if your PSU can handle it.

But AMD will probably have released something by that point, so the prices of other cards might go down.
