Wait so if Skylake is comming in september, what the hell happened to Broadwell?

I don't think I've actually heard anything about a particular release date on the Broadwell desktop chips, only mobile version have been out thus far. People are just going bonkers over Skylake while overlooking the generation that was (supposed) to be before it.

Exactly my point! Maybe we're jumping on the Skylake hypetrain a little early, surely if broadwell dekstop chips are postponed, which we know they are... surely Skylake will be postponed as well... right?

There were rumours flying around over a year ago that broadwell was skipping the desktop and that we'd get a haswell refresh. So it is possible that Intel will just go straight to skylake
