New GPU

so i'am buying a new gpu this summer but i know almost nothing about gpu specs except from the vram...my pc specs are:Intel core i5 4430 3.00Ghz...Nvidia GeForce GT 640 2gb...VS450 corsair power supply...8gb RAM
So i'am between a GeForce GTX 960 2GB STRIX OC
                                        GTX 660
                  MSI GeForce GTX 960 4GB
i want to spend on a gpu around 300$...so should i buy any of these 3 or a better one?

First off. Are you from the US or are those USD converted?

You can get a 290X for 300$ but you can't run it on that power supply.

Yeah, region will vary the pricing quite a lot, and you will have to watch the amount of power that the gpu draws with that low wattage of a PSU.

 

The 960 will be fairly good in that case considering the tiny amount of power it uses. The 660 is significantly slower than a 960, however it will also be much cheaper.

Choosing between the msi or asus, will depend on which suits your color scheme, as basically all the 960's oc similarly (maybe a 100 mhz difference), and non of them are significantly louder than the other (some sites say that the asus cooler might be slightly cooler).

 

Also, have you looked at any low wattage amd cards, as they are generally dirt cheap.

Provided you're running a US International keyboard layout, like most people do these days, Ctrl+Alt+5 will give you the € sign.
