STARFIGHTER INC is a hardcore team-based PvP multiplayer space shooter in the vein of X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter. The devolpers of Starfighter seem promising as they worked on many AAA titles such as Crysis, FarCry, X-wing, Saints Row, Halo, Elder Scrolls online and many more. So we know they can create great games but StarFighter is not going to be a easy game to create!

More Space game? Keep them coming. I have starcitizen but its been a while since I touched it tbh. Their portfolio seems good tbh! I think they can make a awesome game! I know linus is a big fan of SC but would he like this?

With ED doing well and SC being a thing everyone's gonna go space sim over the next 10 years, its like survival, zombies, modern war before that, WW2 before that, once someone makes money on a different genre everyone jumps in the pool.

They likely can't get funding/approval with publishers.  That and the big publishers likely want them to make stupid changes or drastic cuts.  The big publishers want money printing machines.

Just like the MWO devs tried, but failed miserably.

Also what a lot of these KS campaigns don't get as to why they don't meet or are barely meeting their goal(s) is stuff like "Backer-Only Ships". That right there is a MASSIVE no. A skin sure, that's cool as it's just cosmetic, entire ships being exclusive to only KS Backers? Thanks but I'll spend my money else where.
