EK G1 Waterblock.

So I got my G1 Waterblock from EK. Since I'm waiting for the rest of my parts to for the loop get here,  My question is if ill still be able to use the connector for the "WINDFORCE" logo for a regular LED so I can use it to light up the block with the Geforce experience software 

As you can see on the picture below, the connector is behind the top cover.  So I can't promise you it will work but if you plug the connector before installing it, you might be okay if the height isn't an issue which you will see when you try it.

 

It won't fit, the clearance between the plexi top and the connector is <1mm so unless you remove that white connector and directly solder I don't think it's possible.

Depends on how the LED is connected to the card, see if you can remove it and put it in the block. Pics would be helpful.
