Hi. I have been into gaming and recording for the last week's. I want to start to game and record. The problem is that my pc can't handle those new game today without going up to 90% cpu, sometimes almost 100%. This is what i got inside my pc.

Graphics Card: Amd Radeon Hd 7900 Series

Processor: Amd fx™-4300 quad-core processor 3.80 GHz

MotherBoard: Asus M5 A97

Ram: 8.00 GB

Power Supply: Corsair cx500 500 W

Fan: z7uh01r101

What do i need to change and upgrade? What kind of graphics card, processor , motherboard, etc is good for gaming and recording? I dont have any budget and i dont need any fancy thing, only enough to play games and record games like Call of duty and battlefield.

I hope you guys can help me. Thanks  :)

EDIT: Hey. Thanks for taking time to help me. When i check my gpu, it stand AMD Radeon HD 7900 series: LINK: http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/desktop/7000/7900. If i'm not mistaking, GPU is Graphics card?

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

if he has a HD7970 he doesn't have to upgrade to a r9 280

but if he has a hd 7970 (probable not ) the fx 4300 bottlenecks it like crazy

he doesn't have alot of money so yeah :P

didnt know he had a 7970 but anyway that should actually be fine

i don't know if he has a hd 7970 i din't say that but upgrading from any hd 7900 would be not worth the money it only increase the fps a little bit but the hd 7900 series is either the hd 7950 or hd 7970 (boost) the fx 4300 is bottlenecking the hd 7950 or hd 7970

well he could always go for a 290? but that is not needed

the fx 4300 is bottlenecking the hd 7950 or hd 7970

probably true in gaming

Which 7900 series card do you have? Also the CPU is most likely bottlenecking your CPU

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X | CPU Cooler: Stock AMD Cooler | Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) | RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (4x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 | GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Zotac Mini | Case: K280 Case | PSU: Cooler Master B600 Power supply | SSD: 1TB  | HDDs: 1x 250GB & 1x 1TB WD Blue | Monitor: 24" Acer S240HLBID | OS: Win 11 Pro.

Home Lab:  Lenovo ThinkCenter M82 Hyper-V Server 2022 | Dell OptiPlex 9020 Hyper-V Server 2022 | TP-LINK TL-SG108E | Cisco Catalyst C2960CG 8 Port Switch | HP MicroServer G8 SCCM Server | 2x Dell PowerEdge R630 Hyper-V Server 2022

Well at worst his gpu is a 7950 which would make the r9 280 a useless upgrade and a 960 would be a very minor upgrade, not worth the cost.

On topic... get abb i5 4690k and a a z97 motherboard, if you can't afford that then get an i5 4460 and h97 board. 4460 is a huge step up and really the only reason to go higher is for overclocking

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB
