No it would just reset it to default settings

Does resetting the CMOS also make the BIOS go back to an older version?

 

For example if I have V 1.09 right now and I reset it, would it go back to V 1.0?

No it stays in the same version but if you have any overclocks or raid profiles set it will set them all back to default.
