Can I Move a Graphics Card

Hello!

 

I have my current custom built desktop and it has a GTX 750ti in it.  I am going to be building a more portable mini itx based machine, and supposing it has a PCIe16x slot, would it hurt the graphics card to take it out of my desktop and temporarily keep it in my portable machine, and then when I'm done put it back?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

Unless you consider implausable scenarios, it shouldn't make a blind bit of difference. Just imagine what the LinusTechTips channel would be like if all graphics cards could only be used once...

Cards are designed to be removed and put in other machines. As long as you're not mishandling it, it's fine.

it will hurt it emotionally as you're taking it away from its long term friends.
