Battlefield...?

Wanted to ask if this is something that you guys notice, because I seem to. I'm not an avid Battlefield player, but after I finished campaign on 3 and 4 I'll sometimes play them online on multiplayer with other people. However when I do play, it seems to be one of these two scenarios:

 

1. A "normal" game where everything works as it should and it's fair depending on the player's skill level, or

2. A game where I'm landing dozens of bullets into a person right in front of me and they don't die, meanwhile I die from getting shot once by some guy with an M16 across the map.

 

Is this normal?

Battlefield 4 is horrible for online multiplayer. I miss the good ole days of Bf2. I loved that game

The combat in BF2 was excellent. BF bad company 1&2 meh, bf 3&4 just no.

Just popping in to say that NetCode will be further improved with the spring patch that's coming.

 

It will be anywhere from 60Hz to 144Hz tick rate.

I have BF3 from a previous humble bundle and I never played online, is it really that bad?

Maybe, I'm just a relic of the past. I just did not enjoy the squads idea. Maps were okay. It was just a letdown for me. I played bf2 for years.

BC2, BF2, BF3, BF4, were all great games regarding multiplayer.

 

It is one of the best battlefield games to play multiplayer, don't worry. Many people just say "BC2/BF2 are the best!" because they wan't to sound like an elitist.

Ok, I think I may give it a try some other day when my Internet gets better, thanks.

I loved bfbc2, then I bought bf3, I see no point in buying the newer games. Bfbc2 wa the best with its huge maps, battlefeild is like COD now God damn you EA
