On Board Audio Issues? Help!

Hey guys, Recently I have had a problem with what is presumably my on board audio, during Skype calls or Razer Comms people in the call can hear my computers audio. For example if i where to watch a You Tube video the audio from that is broadcasted to everyone in the call, i have bought a new headset, tried re installing the drivers for Realtek HD audio, but still no luck! If you guys have any idea on how to fix this please let me know. I was wondering if a new sound card would be of use to me?

What motherboard do you have?

I would expect it to be due to a setting in the drivers or a wire issue. If it's a wiring issue, try and find a method of putting sound through only one side (left/right) and using the voice recorder see whether the sound plays on only one of the sides. If so, it could be a front panel audio issue, but if its on both, look for an option in the driver settings to loop or echo audio through the other.

My Motherboard is a Gigabyte 78 LMT-S2P. I have tried both the front connectors and rear, It never used to to this and I haven't changed any settings, i think that the on board audio is broken, would a separate card do the trick?

I guess so. Have you checked your headset wiring (ie another headset)

Yeah, i have used 2 different headsets the problem is still there.

Then it sounds like it is the onboard audio. A sound card would fix it, and Linus always suggests an ASUS Xonar card.

Yeah, i was looking at this one, i need something cheap as i am low on money. I was thinking this one.

Sounds good. I think it's probably the best you can get in the price range, and better than the onboard audio even at that price. I'm no expert though.

i ALWAYS reccomend buying a cheap soundcard it makes SO MUCH diffrence trust me see my build in the signature i have a 50$ soundcard and it was a huge upgrade for me (even bigger than making the titan SLİ)
