CS:GO Question.

I recently built a computer with a G3258. I OC'd it with stock cooler to 4.3 GHz stable. I'm getting 30fps dips to 70max on deathmatch in CS:GO. Will buying a graphics card improve performance a lot? If so, what should I get?

Would be nice if it can run Starcraft 2 at 70+(Just so that dips won't create stuttering) as well.

I'd probably go for a 960 for adequate performance in the foreseeable future.

 

I have no budget to go on by the way so plz tell me and maybe I'll tell you something more appropriate

a r9 280x is probably a better buy

if all you play are the games mentioned above, then nothing above an r7 260x would be needed

would definitely want to spend minimum $. The max i will pay is $150, but i'd want to definitely step down a notch from that. Won't be playing much else than that. Maybe minecraft. I didn't want to spend much money on this computer, because it's a "public" computer, and not my private rig so it's going to be one for playing games on when friends come over. Hence, I got a G3258.
