Hey I'm looking for a good free VPN that would work in China. I tried to look online but I couldn't find any that was free and I didn't know if some worked in China.

Not a VPN but Tor works if you use bridges.

Most free with be either Slow and Secure (Tor) or Fast an Insecure (all the others). 

 

Paid is the only way you will have both fast and secure.

What do you mean by insecure? For What I'm planning on doing is just to browse Google and my Facebook during my free time since I'm gonna be there for a long time
