Hey guys,

I'm planning a build for a friend as he needs a bit of help and he is going for around a $1,100 - $1,200 (maybe a wee bit over) using the parts available from the locals stores here.

Here is what I've planned for him:

All of those parts are available in our local stores right now but I haven't quite decided on the powersupply yet as I'm not sure which are good (some are seasonic, some silverstone but no EVGA/Corsair I don't think).

Are there any recommendations or thoughts you have for this build?

If you have any suggestions just suggest a part and I can go check if they have it.

Thanks :)

Everything looks fine to me, though you might want to add in a small SSD, about 128GB if you have the budget for it.

Yeah, I considered a Samsung 850 EVO 128ish GB version but I'm not sure if that can be fit in with the budget.

Thanks for the reply :)

i'm torn on the liquid cooler, i feel like theres cheaper ways to go (potentially air) but a nice large tower cooler will be rather vunreable in a clearly portable rig.

I thought about that too.

They have a Noctua NH-D15 available for a bit cheaper (like 20-25 dollars) and they have a Thermaltake Water 3.0 240m AIO aswell as a 120m version. Would any of them be better?
