BF4 USB STICK/FLASHDRIVE

I just bought the game from Origin and is it possible to download the game at a friends house on a laptop - store it in a usb and transfer it to my pc?

 

My internet isnt that fastest..

also If i play bf4 from Origin will it be any different if i bought the game from g2a or some other site? You will all see each other in-game no matter where you got it from right?

yes and BF4 is only on origin so yeah it will work.

iv done that many times, as one of my friends doesn't have unlimited download

Yes. You will need to "download" it again on your computer but it only checks that all files are there.

BF4 requires Origin as it's DRM method, so no matter where you buy it you're getting an Origin product key.

 

Edit: And you probably know this already, but bring a big USB drive. I'm not home so I can't check, but I think an up-to-date BF4 directory is nearly 50 GB.

When you get it to your house..

 

Open Origin.. Start the download from your internet connection.. give it a few seconds of actually downloading a file or two.... then pause it. Close Origin

Copy the BF4 folder into your Origin Games Folder where your BF4 directory would be.

Overwrite any and all files (just those few you downloaded are all thats in there anyway)

Once done,.. Open Origin, Re-initialize the download, and it will complete/finalize install in a few seconds, then add the DLC in a few seconds more...
Within a few minutes you should be done...

 

/Download the Browser plugin for Battlelog and your good to go.

 

I've done this method so many times,.with many titles....Starting the install, pause, exit fully, copy files, re-open and restart the download.

Boom..Done.
