i've never had that happen, but i also never tortured a (decent) mouse to the point buttons broke.

 

after a few years all the buttons on my g500 still feel as new.

do the side buttons and all other buttons in the G502  become mushy after getting over the actuation point ? 

 

 

Doubt it, they are fine on mine, and the side buttons on my many years old g500 are fine too

this mouse has been to aobut 10 countries and often gets bashed against the desk when I get killed, logitech mice are hard to kill

Yeah, I use the G502 at home and its super well built

 

I have been using Logitech gaming mice forever (their support is amazing too if anything DOES go wrong)

i dont even need the reseller's warranty,logitech send you a replace even without taking the replaced item ! 

 

last question because i dont know logitech's coating yet 

is it a rubber on the logitech g502  ? and you can compare it to the RIVAL rubber for exemple ? 

because i am afraid about all that coatings that they goes off after a short while

Its not coated, its just like a rough plastic, I doubt it will wear off
