Define R5

Do you guys know how much space there is between the define r5 door and the drive bays? And also would I have to use a touchscreen fan controller to fit in there or could I fit one with dials?

if you don't want to use the integrated fan controller you will need to use a touch screen controller or one like this but leave it very slightly recessed into the 5.25 bay

Pretty sure there is just enough clearance so that the door doesn't try and open any optical drives.

 

Though you could probably recess a knobbed fan controller.

You do realise there are three fans controlled by the "on-board" fan controller anyway, That's the case fans covered all other fans could be controlled by the MoBo

yeah I do I am just considering as an add on in case I want it and I also think it looks really cool which is a bonus

I thought one of the big selling points of the R5 was that it looked very plain/unobtusive, and it doesn't lend itself well to "looking cool".
