Upgrading PC. $1500 to spend

Planning on upgrading my rig. I have $1,500 to spend. Some Ideas:

 

i7-5960X

X99 motherboard

16GB DDR4

 

or

 

$800 custom water loop

32GB DDR3 ram

Another R9 290x (3-way Crossfire)

 

or

 

Mini-ITX build w/ 4690k and a GTX 980

 

or

 

GTX Titan X w/ watercooling kit. Sell both of my 290x's for peripherals.

not tryna sound rude or anything, but when youve already got a system built like this, theres no point. if anything, sell the 290x's and put some money towards a new gpu config, even that might not even be worth the time and effort lol

Depends what you want: better main system, watercooling, more GPUs, single stronger GPUs, secondary system, etc. They're all cool ideas and if you have the cash then do what you want, just don't have a lot to go off of for what'd be best for you. For gaming your current system is more than enough for most, if you're an editor then I feel like any sort of upgrade would make more sense.
