i5 4690k temps?

I am getting idle temps in the low 30 C which is what my old cpu was running at load... Do I just not have as good of contact with the cooler? 

 

The load temps are in the 60 C on the i5 now.   Cooled with a hyper 212 evo

Temps look good to me, mine are about the same.  Same cpu, mine sits around 26-32c at idle depending on my room temp.

Whats a max tamp for the cpu? For overclocking?

8c does not sound right to me lol.  My load temps peaks at about 72c using OCCT with the h105and overclocked to 4.2Ghz.

Did you only use that one utility to monitor your temps?  I always use a couple of programs just to make sure theyre all reading the same.

Just watched the video - it's an FX chip. They are notorious for not being able to give an accurate reading below about 20℃. Above that they are good, but idle temps can be anywhere from 0℃ on up.

Messed me up quite a bit too on my old 6300.
