Why is this work unit taking over 9 DAYS?

Title says it. Basically I stopped folding for quite a while and I started again today. A little while later I come back and this shows up. What the hell? Why is it supposed to take almost 10 days? Work units usually take under 6 hours on my PC, but what is going on here?

It's probably something to do with the way it estimates the time it needs.

It'll take itself down to a few hours eventually, it's nothing to worry about

Some just take longer than others.

I thought about that, but I find it odd that my computer has 13 days to do it on the 9.7 days ETA and that it will only give me 4000-ish points, I usually get much more points, and I never seen any work unit that takes over 10 hours. Not 10 days.

hahaha, saw your screenshot

Took a while (didn't expect it to take that long), but ETA got down to 9 hours and points got up to around 19000. Maybe my GPU was doing something else in the background, idk.

Just to add, before a WU reaches 3% completion, it will show the ETA as the longest amount of time you have to complete the WU, reducing the estimated amount of points.

 

After the 3% it will re-adjust itself and show the corrected estimate
