Hi guys which of these psu's would be better for a silent build? I have heard only good things about the evga but apparently the seasonic has coil whine. I asked about this in an earlier thread but now i can't decided which power supply to get. is the evga better or is the seasonic fine? YOu can see the specs of my build on my page.

Thank you!

I own the g2. Its awesome, especially for the price. It is quiet and also has an Eco switch. Which allows it to keep the fan off until it hits a certain temp. You can not go wrong with this PSU for silence and performance.

It's always a good day if you woke up breathing.

This is better then both of those options.

Hybrid fan mode so zero noise when it's off (like the EVGA G2), high quality FDB fan so still very quiet when under load. $70 after MIR makes it a much better deal then even the 750G2 if you don't need the extra wattage. 650W is still plenty even if you plan to add a second 970 later on for SLI.
