So after reading this write up about the 390x I am heavily considering it for my next GPU to replace my 280x.

I'll be waiting for sapphire to add their touch to the card before buying (love the vapor-x).

Thoughts?

Well I'm super hopeful this card has massive success to help AMD. But yeah it looks like a great card for the price. Let's see how hot it runs *cough* 290 *cough*

I really hope it's not ITX ... I would like to marvel it once in a while and not being totally bumped by the fact that there's an ITX card in an Full Tower case ...

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

Yeah I get why that'd suck for a lot of people, but for a lot more it'd be amazing. Imagine being able to fit a powerhouse like this on top of your desk.

I just hope it's pretty quiet and not super, super loud.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Though it sounds like E3 might be when we get to see it.

If it means the ye olde AMD reference cooler is replaced, it might be worth the trade-off.

Looks like 390x is a tiny card.

Would love it if this is the new way for HBM cards.  Goodbye steam powered giant tower cases, hello sexy compact powerhouses

The only thing tha I would like to mention is that a powerful card is going to be expensive. Dont base yourself on the current price of the 290x to think that the 390x is going to cost anywhere near what a 290x costs now which is not happening. Even the 290x itself was much more expensive at its release. Probably almost the double that its at now. What I am trying t say is that the 390x is going to be a 700$ plus card and the plus is probably important to mention here

Of course, I don't think anyone is thinking otherwise, everything I've seen on it so far says about $700USD.

If the benchmarks are even close to realistic of how the card will do it will give the Titan X a run for its money, the only thing so far is I see a lot of places saying only 4 or 8gb vram. 8gb would be perfect considering the 290x has 8gb models....

Time will tell just have to hurry up and wait!

290x was $550 @ Launch and rumors are putting 390x against Titan X in terms of performance and $550 puts it at 980 pricing  even $650-700 (which is the highest I've seen in any rumor/leak articles) still doesn't put it much/if anyhigher than some 980 aftermarkets  and at 70% (or less) of the cost of Titan X
