Razer Abyssus

This mouse is the first one I got after using a dell mouse for over 10 years replacing them every few. While this is a great mouse it does have one major downfall the feet/pads on the bottom. Here is the notes from my video review;

  • Clicks are even and defined

  • Clickie  scroll wheel

  • Glossy plastic on bottom half of sides, wish they would have continued the top material

  • Pads on the bottom wear out too quick

  • Entry level mouse, limited DPI settings but quick to switch

  • Ambidextrous

  • Optical sensor with no noticeable acceleration

Here is my video review for those interested, https://youtu.be/H4Z6baUFu4g

I don't think that would help, I can use those dell ones for 3 years before the pads wear and it has been 2 months using the Abyssus and they are almost at the same level of wear

It works great just that the feet are wearing quick. I'll get a mouse pad and see.

Lol use a REAL mouse pad.

These will match your mouse. http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mouse-mats

Mouse pads make all the difference.

I have before, with dell ones and it only extends the feet life maybe 6 months. If the Abyssus can't handle at least 3 years before wearing out it has a serious issue. Plus how I use my pc I would need two and one would have to be moved around so no thanks just another pain in the ass. I'll just wait till this one is useless and find one that is going to stand up.

You could also always look for replacement feet once these are worn out. They go for about $4 for 2-sets as far as I've seen on ebay, so don't worry about it too much.
