Any good free video editor?

Here's the example of what I'm trying to do:

I recorded a World of Tanks gameplay. I want to be able to place a black box covering an area on the video (and later remove it), cut parts of the video out, add pictures that move around in the game, and add another video clip (maybe of different format) in front of the recording.

Is there any free video editing software out that can do that and isn't a trial or Windows Movie Maker (because it can't do what I'm trying to do)

Free version (not demo) of Lightworks or VSDC

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

The only downside for Lightworks is that It can only do 720p making small text hard to read, and also doesn't support most video formats for export.

I will look at the other one.
