What monitor should i get for a GTX 970?

I tried plugging in a 8 year old monitor and it didnt fit lol what monitor specs should i look  for?

That totally depends on what you want.

Basically any cheap monitor from Samsung, Acer, BenQ, Asus, ... will do.

I would definitly recommend an IPS display for better colours and viewing angles.

Response time isn't that important. As long as it is under 10ms you're definitly fine.

You might want to check out higher refresh rates that can range from 60 to 144Hz. They can be wonderfull for gaming.

As above stated, Also a 970 is almost perfect for 1080p, and will work well with 1440p gaming, but will suffer with some games if you try pushing 4k through it.

Get 1080p 144Hz Gsync monitor (if they make Gsync for 1080p).

Connection: 200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi
