Cyberpower PC

Go to solution Solved by MblaZe7run,

Desktop (I know you're talking about laptop, btw): Build your own

Laptop: Don't buy customs, buy a professional grade or gaming laptop from the likes of MSI, ASUS, Lenovo, etc.

Does anyone have experience with Cyberpower PC? The only reviews I could find of them was from a few years ago and the only bad thing was that the shipping was late in some cases. They seem to have really good deals and I like the customizability you can get. My price range is around $1,000 (Give or take a couple hundred bucks) so if you guys have any other ideas for good computers in that price range please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I forgot to mention I need a laptop but I also want to play games on it.

Buying one from a retailer defeats the whole purpose because yes, you get the same performance as many other custom gaming PCs but it's just as expensive as any other pre-built solution.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel

Well. Yes Building a PC is great. But more you know, more you spend.

That's all I wanted to say.

My friend in Canada tried to order from Cyberpower PC, they took the money from his account then waited 2 weeks to tell him his order was on hold. The reason they listed was "The shipping address is not verify" he e-mailed them asking what that means and they said "THE SHIPPING ADDRESS IS NOT VERIFY" and he asked how to fix that, they said "OK your order is now cancelled"

There are some damn good deals from ibuypower, but like most prebuilts it's mostly all crap compared to building it yourself. It's not hard to do, if you're not using a big aftermarket CPU cooler anyone can do it!

This is why:

That doesn't even have anything to do with like anything the OP is asking...........that's someone building a desktop computer. Cyperpower is ok, but not very good price to performance even Alienware is alright, I would suggest getting a MSI or Lennovo, like a appache pro, I've got one for work and on the go gaming it's great.

Thanks for all the answers! Accept the people telling me to custom build a laptop... (You know who you are) For anyone wanting to know, I'm going for the Lenovo Y50 because it has a great price and better specs than any laptop (accept for the $3,000) ones at CyberPower. This community is the best  :D
