Red screen whilst playing Battlefield 3?

Joshua

I've just bought Battlefield 3, and the first time I played it, whilst doing the campaign, a red screen came up and I could hear a buzzing noise. It has happened before with other games, anyone have any Idea why?

Are you running any monitoring software? MSI Afterburner, Speedfan, etc.

Update drivers. If not working, try beta drivers. BF3 is known to have issues with gpus.

No, you should not.

Do you have this problem with other games?

How about when you use Furmark (free - http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/)? FurMark is a GPU stressing tool, if you didn't know.
