I am planning to go to the US in about 2 weeks, what tech stuff should I look at while I am there. Will be in northern new york state.

Edit: I mean what is super cheap there compared to Canada, I am looking to upgrade my system.

Dunno. Maybe stop by a gun club and rent an hour at the range with a full auto gun? The ammo isn't that cheap, but it is fun lol..

If super cheap parts is what you're looking for, you're in the wrong part of the state. Micro Center is down in the NYC area (Brooklyn to be specific.)

Damm, any idea how long of drive it would be about

Where exactly will you be in Northern NY? From Albany, we're talking about three hours in a car, Watertown is about 5 and a half hours.

I think the US is a fair amount cheaper but there is a chance that you may need to pay customs charges when you go home. Something you'll need to look at before to go

New York is lame. I suggest you come to Texas. You won't know the definition of big till you step foot in Texas.

I can't tell you that, but I can tell you how to get there. Just follow the smell of urine in the streets.

That is too risky because they will send it through the x-ray machine.

Oh. Well the last time I went to canada with my dad, crossed at detroit. He brought back some cigars and we just drove though, they asked if we had anything to declare, we said no, and drove on through.

Granted, it was a family of americans coming back to america, so we pretty much got that nod you get from good friends that just says "sup" as a customs check.

Rarely here, they ask you if you are going back into Canada. They will though only charge taxes on open stuff since you can claim opened stuff is used/given to you. Generally just better to pay though unless it is something small.
