You could always get a worse CPU (4460), not overclock (no Z97) and get a really kick ass GPU. Like the 280X, 290, or 970/290X if enough money is saved.

Maybe you should read my post instead. I asked for opinions on what PC I should get from the two in my original post...

Maybe your original buids aren't squeezing max performance out of the budget? You still should follow these guidelines as it makes us giving you feedback MUCH easier.

 

For all I know you want to play GTA V at 4k Ultra 120FPS.... Unless you tell us what you want, we can't help you.

Things I did.

 

• Took out the SSD. For a budget orientated build an SSD isn't what you need.
• Better GPU. MUCH BETTER!
