Hey guys I am thinking about something to upgrade, and I am not sure whether to get an SSD or a new graphics card. The card will be for folding and playing games obviously. The reason I am looking for an SSD is i think that is the bottle neck on my computer (not in terms of games), when booting and opening programs in general. What do you guys think? Budget is around 200 bucks I would say.

While an SSD will improve general system performance you will have little else to show for the upgrade aside from booting faster, I would upgrade the GPU as it would make more of a difference.

A better GPU wouldn't be bad. Something like a R9 280 would be a nice little upgrade.

For 200$ you could probably get a better GPU and an SSD, R9 270X Maybe?

An i3 would be better than this cpu though...

How much did you spend on that?

I got the cpu for 39.99 so it was a steal

I just am not sure if that CPU is quick enough to not bottle neck something like a r9 280...  Even if it does bottleneck it, it would be a lot better gaming performance than a 7770.

Yeah I could possibly try to overclock the cpu a little more to see how fast I could get it to go.
