Need new gpu

So i need a new gpu my 650 is kicking the bucket and is nowhere near good for gaming anymore. So i need a new gpu my problem is my budget is not big 300 euros is the absolute max i can do and even then i would not want to spend that kind of money. So i am looking at Asus AMD R9 285 Strix, 2GB GDDR5 its going for 190 euros where i live so my question is is there anything better in the price range or is this good gpu for fairly high graphics not ultra but light graphics like medium and some aa

of course i would prefer nvidia cause most likely their stuff will be more compatible whit more games and give less pain in configuring but amd is fine whit me i does not bother me that i need to config something for hours on end to get something working

if you want to spend €300, you *can* get a GTX960 (pulled from my favourite website, that has fairly equal prices around europe, sadly not in finland tho)

I would go for either the R9 280 or GTX 960.

I see them both here in Germany for under 200€.

so bit of an update sort of i digged my local retailers website and found they had XFX AMD Radeon R9 280X Black Edition, 3GB GDDR5, for 300e dont know if it would be a good deal hopefully i have enough money to pay the rent after 300e >.<

Not sure about Finland, but Norway has some pretty gnarly import tax, and i doubt it would be as easy as shipping something over from another country for cheaper

Id grab GTX 960, youd be good for 2 maybe even 3 years with running latest games at reasonable settings.
