we need more info. what speeds are you paying for, what speeds are you getting now on your pc, etc

First step to getting faster internet is to check what package you have from your ISP. You could very well only be paying for poor speeds.

What sucks about it? The speed? Range? Both? o: 

 

And is it bad on other devices too, or just your PC? 
 

Also are you using wifi, or connecting with LAN? 

 

It depends on what kind of internet plan you have too, like what are the quoted speeds you should be getting, and what speeds are you getting in reality (You can check your speeds on www.speedtest.net )

The bandwidth achieved by your PC is largely limited by your Internet connection - if the network hardware present in the system already exceeds the speed of your Internet, adding a powerful network card to your system will do nothing unless you're constantly transferring files over the network.
