Is the CoolerMaster V650 good?

Spewky

Hey,

Recently I bought my parts (actually a month ago) for my PC and the store I went to didn't have the PSU they said they had so I ended up going with a Cooler Master V650.

I'm wanting to know if that was a bad idea or not or if it has a reputation for crappy thingies (can't remember the name) in them like the Corsair RM series that act like a kill switch when they break.

So yeah, is it good or bad? It says it's 80+ bronze but so do the RM series...

Thanks :)

The V650 and RM650 are both gold rated and good psus. The RM series just has a bad reputation due to relatively lower quality for a pricier and advertised as high end product.

It's kind of awesome PSU. I personally find the V series pretty good.

-snip-

They're good PSUs. You'll be perfectly fine.

Also, both the RM and CM-V are gold, not bronze :)
