[Solved] Sexy adapter for PSU jump starting

reyncor

Does anyone know of a cheap female adapter that will jump start a PSU for pump / LED strip testing?

Shorting the green pin seems unprofessional, dangerous and unattractive.

Any Ideas?

I looked on ebay, nothing useful popped up... nothing on monoprice either.

SOLUTION:

The Antminer ATX PSU Jump Starter, could be better, but given what it is... it's sexy enough... sure beats a paper clip.

Updated SOLUTION:

I think we can agree this is sleeker, safer, and sexier... I mean look at that race car inspired power button, I'm not alone on this am I?

Most PC stores will sell a variant of this.

Generally found under PSU accessories or water cooling accessories.

They are called PSU Bridges, found some italian ones... Not much better than a paper clip tbh. I was hoping for something that isn't so incredibly easy to catch on to something and break.

Just use a paper clip, sure it looks unprofessional, but if you just make sure to plug into the right pins, it's not dangerous.

Are all those pins 5 volt? I'm still concerned as the antminer one has exposed contacts.

... Just after buying the ant one on Ebay... I kept hunting everywhere... found this beauty. Hope the eBay seller will accept my cancellation.

Yep i just assumed you wanted a proper one instead of a paperclip. They serve the same purpose as a paperclip, are functional, safe, and always get the job done.

My mistake, You should have said you wanted something with bling. >_<

There is nothing dangerous about the paper clip.
