Hey.

I am planning to build my own PC, and i was wondering if this build is okey?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/C6NdYJ

The things i wonder about is:

-Should i use the R5 or should i use a H440?

-Is the PSU okey?

-Is there another liquid cooler on the marked for around the same price that is either: Better, quieter, cheaper or has a better buildquality

-And if there's something else i need to change.

Thank you in advance for all your replies!

What're you going to be using it for, at which resolution and what is your budget? Looks unbalanced if it's for gaming.

My budget is around 1000 to 1500 dollars, and i dont want to change neither the GPU or the CPU.

Goin to use it for gaming and for multitasking.

i7 for a start, paired with a crappy AiO, PSU is way overkill even for a future SLI setup which he can't do anyway.....

I am planning for a SLI upgrade in the future, and i have a couple of HDD's lying around which i am planning to put in. + a DVD reader/writer

also planning to put in some extra noctua fans, or maybe replace the ones that is already there.

I want my pc to be pretty quiet under normal/low load

It's a good build.  The PSU is good, but more than you need unless you want to SLI later.

The cooler is the only thing I would change.  If you want to overclock, get a NZXT X61 (it's the quietest and has very good cooling).

As for the choice between the R5 and H440, it's all personal preference.  They are both excellent and very comparable.

OHHOHHHH * crying out of pain and laughter *

my friend , get ready for a heap shit of storm .

tips :

1. check if youre putting the mobo right in the case properly and check if youre putting the support pins right , other wise you will bend the mobo.

2. check if youre putting the cpu in the right way , and do not take out that black thing ontop of the chipset , Otherwise you will bend the pins inside of the chipset.

3. put the psu FIST , becasue it will be easier to you to cable manage .

4. Have a good work envoirament FOR PEAK SAKE .

basically , dont do the mistakes that i have inlisted .

trust me youre going to need it .

thanks for your reply altough i think the x61 is too expensive, maybe a Water cooler thats inbetween those two, aroung 100 bucks maybe

Define multitasking. Anyways, if you insist:

The case fans are for the CPU cooler by the way. If you're wondering why I chose the PSU, it's because it's a bloody good product.

The X41 is a good option, it's a 140mm rad, a little thicker than normal, and i think it has the same variable speed pump as the x61, so its quiet.

Thanks for the replys.

I was talking to a guy who works at a "computer store/ custom pc build company" and he said that i should go with minimum 750w on my PSU.

And i think i would be going with a corsair h80 or a h100 because the guy who was working with building and repairing computers said that thats the Cooler that has the best build quality and had been in to repair the fewest times

He doesn't know fucking shit then. 2 way SLI 970s run perfectly on a good 600W PSU and Corsair AiOs (although very sexy) aren't the best for the money, and the NH-D15 beats them both in every single benchmark I've ever seen.

EDIT: Just realised, "been in to repair the fewest times"?

And i used a PSU wattage calculator that was recommended by someone on the forum and it said a minimum of 750 watts, altough i did overkill it a little

You can go with 750W if you like for that extra headroom, but I'm just saying that 600W will suffice perfectly
