The TDP on your GTX 970 is 145W and your 5820K is 140W. A single 360mm radiator is rated at about 165W dissipation for DT of 10C at a fan RPM of 1200. So 285W total TDP (I'm using data from Martins liquid labs) would end with a temprature of (10C*(165W/285W))+10C=DT of 15.7C, or 23+15.7=38.7 at full load, not overclocked. Of course this would change if your fans are better/worse or at a different RPM.

Anyone who knows better could correct me, as this math is sloppy at best, but I already spent 15 minutes on it and I'm not a math wizard. Let me know how close I am when you finish!

Edited for maths.

The single 360mm will be fine for stock clocks. It might get noisey with OC though. I suggest using a min 120mm of rad per every 150watts. Double that number if overclocking and wanting a quiet rig.

Look around. You never posts complaining about too much rad space. I say add a 240mm and then you are covered if add another block later.
