The Gigabyte G1 gaming GTX 970 GPU, the NZXT cooler and what WD drive are you talking about exactly?

The WD Black, because it's such a fast drive.

The drive is not black.. They have colour codes for different models.. it does not reference anything to do with the colour of the casing (will be silver(metal) and the sticker on the back will have some black on it, thats it)

 

I'd personally go WD SE or seagate alternative.. I have little trust in HDD's so I tend to look for the longer warranties and leave it there (The WD black does have a 5 year warranty IIRC but comes at a premium and they are LOUD)

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

What are you planning on doing with the drive. WD Black is a performance drive that can sustain longer and heavier workloads and harsher environments and has a long 5-year warranty. As @Dzzope pointed out, it is not black in color, but rather silverish-metal color with black parts on it. Here's a visual representation: photo
