So I have a nice rig I would say, but I can't take that with me on my trip abroad for the next 4 months. I won't have too much time for gaming anyways, but it would be nice to have something to play.

My Laptop has an i5 3210m with HD 4000 graphics and I already have some games like.

- Orcs must die 2

- XCOM Enemy Unknown

- Limbo

- Super Meat Boy

- Don't Starve

- Mark of the Ninja

Well I would like to have some others, since as you might imagine I have already played these games to some extent.

So any ideas? What do you play on your crappy laptop?

I will take a mouse and a PS3 controller with me.

It will be fine. My laptop with a core 2 duo and 1gb 4XXX series runs a lot of smaller games like that :P

Ok misunderstanding. I wasn't asking whether they run or not ( I know they do because I played them all already on my Laptop), I wanted to know what other games there are that are fun and also run on my config. ;-)

Ah.

My bad.

Maybe try older GTA games?

Age of Empires?

Banished

Grim Fandango

Minecraft

Older Battlefield games

Flight sim?

ETS2?

The ones listed and other lightweight indie games should run fine.

I think Terraria is a must-have, personally, but that's more of a huge time-sink rather than something to burn a few hours on here or there during a trip. FTL, Freedom Planet, Sunless Sea, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons might be good choices.

Totally different story. HD 5000 is much more powerful in combination with certain CPUs than what I have.

Good for you though. Seems like a great laptop you have there.

GTA V, CS:GO, UT 3, GMOD, Half Life series 1 - Ep. 2, Outlast, FEAR, and The Forest. To fair it has a GTX 860m 2GB GDDR5 GPU. So it doesn't count as being a "crappy" laptop.

What what?

You are talking about your laptop right?
