Or you can use ExactAudioCopy, to rip and get tag online.

I'm using Foobar2000 to rip my CDs to my computer (All of them are being ripped in .wav). Is there any program that can ensure that all of the Genre and Album info will be added automatically, or do I need to add it all manually?

Thanks!

I use easytag

https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/EasyTAG

It's available on windows, and Linux.

If the CDs that you've ripped are separated into different files, one for each track, you can use the CDDB lookup feature to find the CD and all of its information.

There might be some duplicates, so it's not 100% automatic, but it is really fast once you get the hang of it.

Then, you save the data tags to the file or filename depending on how you have it configured.

It might be a good idea to convert those .wav files to .flac, to save on space.

Thanks man! As for converting the files... I'm too lazy, and I have to fill up my hard drive somehow ;)

Thanks for the alternatives! I'll look into all of these options! I was using ExactAudioCopy, but it wasn't working very well for me, so I switched to Foobar...

Foobar has freeDB that you can use for tags, just right click the songs when you open up the CD in Foobar, select Tagging, it should be there.

I do use that, and it finds CD name, and Track titles, but it won't do Genre, or Album Art for me so far.

Ah, though frankly those are the easiest ones, since it's usually the same across an album. Just saying.
