Best Case Fans?

Go to solution Solved by MrBucket101,

noctuas

just pick whichever version you need, static pressure, or high airflow

industrial are obviously better, but theres a definite price premium for them

what are you looking for?

airflow? static pressure? silence? looks? price?

there is not one fan that is good at everything

different fans excel at different categories

i think silence, linus said something about them being the best that can do all around while still being quite, i could be wrong though

they are quiet but there is quieter

also noctua fans look horrible

the black industrial fans look good but are much louder

the grey redux fans are like their normal fans except grey,so they look better while still being quiet

if you want more quiet, bequiet and fractal design fans give you about the same airflow at 4-5db less noise, but they lack static pressure

noiseblocker eloops have better static pressure but are about as loud as noctua fans

so it really depends where you are putting the fan, what size it needs to be, and what you are using to control the speed (3 or 4 pin)

also what colour you like better, white, grey, or black

I happen to like the way Noctua fans look.  There's no mistaking them when you see them!
