Buy now or wait?!?!

Go to solution Solved by Samfisher,

300 series is at least 2 months away, and mid-range cards don't normally get launched with the high-end cards (which always get launched first).  You might be looking at waiting an upwards of 4 more months for any news about the mid-range 300 series cards.  If you can wait then by all means wait.  If not, 280x it is :P

I am looking into buying a PC and have finally settled on a graphics card. Right now the one I want, the

SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100363VX-3L Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support TRI-X WITH BOOST (UEFI) Video Card, is only about $193. I was wondering if it would be worth waiting until the 300 series comes out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

AMD will most likely just launch the 280x but rebranded to 370x, That is what they have done this far so i dont expect it to change.

Just get the 280x and run for it.
