CPU Cooler question

Hey guys. This is my build I'm gonna work on getting together, but before I buy the parts I need to know If I need A CPU cooler for this build, or will the stock one work just fine? Thanks for your advice, and suggestions

It's not an unlocked processor, so you won't be overclocking. The stock cooler will do just fine in this case, but you could always go for something cheap and reliable, such as the 212 EVO.

There are reasons other than just overclocking for wanting an aftermarket cooler. However, the stock will work just fine.

Stock is rated at up to 75W thermal dissipation. It's fine for any locked processor under 99% of operation. I think most people on the forum would agree that a cheap aftermarket cooler would be a good idea for just about any cpu unless you've gotten a "S" part.

 

You probably won't hit that high a temps with your cpu, but that little but lower will always help it's lifespan (yes that 212 evo is everyone's favorite cheap cpu cooler)

not much honestly. Most games push the GPU far harder than the cpu.
