Z87-A error

Go to solution Solved by IsaaX,

I suggest going into the UEFI and check which UEFI/Bios revision is installed. You can find the updated UEFI/Bios for your board at support.asus.com. Type in Z87-A in the search field. You can copy the CAP file into a fat-16/32 flash drive and update via the UEFI.
I have a Z87-Deluxe and it came with a very early revision that was giving me issues. I updated to the latest revision and all my issues went away.

What happens when you go back to the stock cooler again?

I suggest going into the UEFI and check which UEFI/Bios revision is installed. You can find the updated UEFI/Bios for your board at support.asus.com. Type in Z87-A in the search field. You can copy the CAP file into a fat-16/32 flash drive and update via the UEFI.
I have a Z87-Deluxe and it came with a very early revision that was giving me issues. I updated to the latest revision and all my issues went away.

It looks like all I had to do was update my BIOS, just like yours, it was a very early version. Thanks to everyone for helping me out and all the replies. For a moment I thought I was going to have a heart attack.
