Extra mouse cursor that won't go away

killerdann12

So After restarting windows an extra mouse cursor has appeared at the top left corner of my screen. I can not do anything with it and it just mimics the actual mouse cursor.

anybody have a way of removing it?

cant seem to take a screen shot of it either as they both disappear.

currently using windows 8.1

Well I know reinstalling the OS would get rid of it, but that's alot of work for just that.

you sure not having connected two different mouse or change usb port such as from 3.0 to 2.0 and vice versa? I don't have much experience about this but have you used remote desktop software such as Teamviewer or teamspeak?

a second mouse wouldnt cause a new cursor to appear, and I have used those programs before but they never caused this before.
